There are many things that people spend a large chunk of their lifetime on,though with varying degree among men and women,Our skin is one those areas that we just can’t afford to overlook.Unless maybe the recently discovered “Uncontacted Amazon Tribe” well not anymore it is safe to assume We all spend a considerable amount of time every single day staring at the bathroom mirror for various reasons such as shaving, brushing, combing,or rubbing and the list goes on,caressing our skin, don’t you think there’s a reason why we love’em cute baby faces? Yes,it’s because they are spotless and wrinkles free.
Even the Taliban have mirrors, which indicate the importance of looking human or do they? ehmmm seriously i’m not so sure about’em “Mullahs” but the point is Our skin is dear to us.If one now adds the so many afflictions that plague our skin as we get older, you now start to get a clearer picture of the amount of time dedicated to making sure we keep looking young and attractive.
Talking about skin conditions/afflictions,they are so many to cover in one encyclopedia let alone one or two pages however i would select a few common ones and investigate the causes and potential remedies based on skin type which is why not all remedies work for everyone.
Topping the list though not by any order is :
1. Acne and Black Heads.
You may consider yourself lucky,if this isn’t one of the skin afflictions bordering you because it is a nasty one, especially with the blackheads…ouch! It is a teenage girl’s nightmare because the more you keep picking at it,the more scars you’re likely to leave behind.Actually, the causes of Acne can vary from person to person. From bad dieting to stress to toxins overload, blocked pores, lack of exercise…etc In my Opinion it isn’t crystal clear as to the cause(s),it could even be hereditary also,it is difficult to find experts that will agree on the same set of causes making the subject matter ripe with all sorts of myths.but living a clean and healthy lifestyle could go a long way in helping to mitigate it effects. It may sound unbelievable, but just increasing your daily liquid intake [water] could be your miracle cure.
Okay, so there are lots of skincare creams, gels, astringents, face washes and finish regimens which can be used daily to combat acne breakouts. As a certified victim of acne vulgaris given the amount of time spent with skin care therapists (Dermatologists),i’ve used a good percentage of over the shelf products and to be honest, none of the prescribed products worked long term for me.I’m not saying it doesn’t work, just didn’t work for me personally keeping in mind it worked for some others. It was then i discovered some remedies are best suited for certain skin types.
There were remedies that worked on short bursts or so it seemed, but then all came back with a vengeance.I don’t know if any other has experienced that.It was frustrating to say the least. It reached point where i finally gave up the battle and focused on other things.Being a guy,it didn’t really bother me anymore what was crawling on my face.As time progressed,i noticed a gradual reduction in the amount of outbreaks. I also remember i sweated a lot as a result of increased liquid intake. My abnormal level of liquid intake and the occasional use of aloe vera plant on my face worked wonders for me.
This is my story,i have seen people with different stories so before you start testing all sorts of methods, increase your water intake for at least a month and maybe wash the affected skin area frequently, also you might wanna consider cultivating the Aleo vera plant,it doesn’t take much to grow, just keep watering the magic plant.
It does work wonders.Break small section every now and then slice it up and rubbed it on affected areas. Please Keep in mind that i’m not expert in this field,i’m just sharing my personal uncut experience, you may have to consult with your doctor first because my face is not your face.THIS IS WHAT WORKED FOR ME !There are products out there that contain the aloe vera ingredient so you don’t necessarily have plant nothing in-case you don’t have time for that.
WHOA!!! I just noticed i’v exhausted the entire page covering just 1 of 5 Skin Problems i wanted to touch,in order not to bore you off,i will have to divide it into parts or sections .I will have to leave it here for now.

2.Swollen or puffed up pores
When it comes to skin pores that were distended or enlarged, experts declared that the main cause on this problem is the accumulation of dead cells and sebum in pores. What causes the pore openings to stretch is often a buildup of the stuffs which happens with time. One with the possible solutions for preventing pore openings to enlarge is really a regular use of retinoid as well as alpha- and beta-hydroxy acids and returning them to their smallest
natural circumference. This can help purge pores of trapped debris. Other than that, good skincare habits, for example not letting your make-up on overnight can help prevent the skin pores from getting plugged by sebum. And, as commonly suggested, you have to protect your skin layer from the sun as UV rays can help with pore dilation. So, avoid extreme sun damage.
The usual cause of the development of brown spots on the skin is exposure to the sun. Perhaps this is good for the reason that sun damage causes cellular structure that produce melanin, the natural pigment of your skin, to shift into overdrive. To prevent brown spots on the skin, you can consider a laser therapy. Many pros believe that laser care is the speediest solution to this problem. This technique is performed by way of focusing a beam of light that erases the splotches on the skin. However, just like some other clinical techniques, the treatment’s aftereffects, like redness and scabbing, can take 2-3 weeks to go away, although the energy of the laser doesn’t affect the surrounding skin. With a laser therapy, it is noted that about twenty spots may be zapped in just one 15-minute session. About the cost, many clinics offer laser hair removal at $350.
There is also a much slower option, one which requires no downtime for eliminating brown spots – using retinoids or alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA) along with bleaching agents like hydroquinone and kojic acid. This treatment is considered to inhibit the formation of melanin. Also, the retinoids or AHAs alone could take approximately six months to produce the obvious improvement of the epidermis. This is as outlined by Amy B. Lewis M.D.,the director of dermatologist surgery in the Downstate Medical Center in New York City.A particular product recommended is Alustra, a twofer dermatologist favorite which contains retinol and a four percent concentration of hydroquinone.
This item actually costs about $80 for starters ounce, as well as the treatment lasts 1 to 2 months. For further solution, products with antioxidants like vitamins E and C and also green teat are strongly suggested. These are told prevent brown spots of the skin by way
of squelching the production of free radicals, that are destructive molecules that can contribute to skin discoloration. Also, smoothing on a broad spectrum sunscreen like the well-known L’Oreal Ombrelle Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 each day is a must for eliminating brown spots onto the skin.
4.Redness on the Skin
Rosacea most likely acts because the main cause of redness. It is actually a chronic condition that first appears as a flushing or subtle redness around the nose, cheeks, forehead and chin. It then progresses from intermittent mild redness to persistent ruddiness too as
permanent, dilated veins and acne-like bumps. It will be worth noting that rosacea is just not curable, nonetheless it responds well to treatment. Speaking of treatment, many experts recommend prescription topical and oral antibiotics as they assist in order to avoid pimples and redness from developing. However, in severe cases, a product called Accutane is often prescribed. Some dermatologists also suggest
pulsed-eye lasers much like the Vbeam which costs $550.
This treatment has been said to treat broken capillaries. It is also potent in lessening the necessity for topical medication. And,there are gentle and hypoallergenic products today which may provide solution to skin redness just like the B. Kamins, Chemist Booster Blue Rosacea Treatment. As noted, this product is capable of neutralizing redness for the skin using its light blue hue that contains soothing ingredients. Another possible solution for redness would be to determine and then try to avoid what actually triggers your episodes of intense flushing and blushing.
The usual triggers for such episodes are spicy or piping-hot foods, caffeine, alcohol, stress, heat, sun, wind, exercise and anything, including massage, trouble and facial steaming that bring blood to the face.Switch to physical sunblocks. These items are unlikely to irritate the skin because they generally contain ingredients like zinc oxide or titanium dioxide that reflect UV rays and aren’t taken into the skin. But, to be sure an absolute shield in the UVB rays, experts commonly suggest one with octyl methoxycinnamate which is the most hypoallergenic.
To start the discussion on oily natural skin care, it’s important to first comprehend the cause behind oily skin. Put simply, oily skin is because of excessive manufacture of sebum (an oily substance that’s naturally created by skin). As is seen to everyone, excess of everything is bad; so excessive sebum isn’t good too. It results in clogging of tiny holes, resulting in accumulation of dead cells and therefore formation of pimples/acne. Moreover, oily skin spoils your image too. So, ‘oily natural skin care’ is as important because the ‘natural skin care’ for other kinds of skin.
The basic purpose of ‘oily skin care’ could be the removal of excessive sebum or oil through the skin. However, oily skin care procedures should not lead to complete removal of oil. ‘Oily natural skin care’ starts with the use of a cleanser. However, not every cleansers works. You need a cleanser that contains salicylic acid i.e. a beta-hydroxy acid that retards the interest rate of sebum production. Cleansing carried out twice a day (and much more in hot and humid conditions).
Most from the oily skin care products are oil-free; however, it is always good to look for the ingredients with the product, prior to deciding to actually buy it. This is especially important if a product is marked as ‘suitable for all those skin types’, as an alternative to ‘oily skin care product’. ‘Oily skincare’ is also dependent on the amount of oiliness, if you aren’t too oily, so a few of these ‘suitable for all’- form of products could possibly be work for you too. For extremely oily skin, only oily natural skin care products are suitable. Your oily natural skin care routine may include an alcohol based toner (to have an extremely oily skin). This can be the 2nd step inside your oily skin care routine i.e. just after cleansing. However, excessive toning may damage your skin.
The next step in your oily natural skin care routine is usually a mild moisturizer. Again, the degree of oiliness of your skin layer will determine whether you’ll want to include this inside your oily natural skin care routine. If you do opt to include a moisturizer, make sure you use one that is oil-free, wax-free and lipid-free.
You may possibly also use a clay mask (say once a week) being an oily natural skin care measure.
As far as the oily natural skin care products go, you may want to try out a few when you arrive at the one that’s really suitable for your epidermis.
In case these measures don’t supply you with the desired result, consult a good dermatologist for advice. He could prescribe stronger oily natural skin care products like vitamin A creams, retinoids, sulphur creams etc , which will help counter the down sides of oily skin.
The recipe for dried-out skin care
Dry skin can not be ignored. Dry skin contributes to cracking in the upper layer of skin and provide it a real bad appearance. The main causes of dermititis include: dry climate, hormonal changes, too much exfoliation and treatment of other skin problems. Moreover, dryness could possibly be the inherent nature of one’s skin. Whatever be the cause, ‘dried-out skin care’ is essential (although not very difficult).
‘Dry skin care’ commences with moisturizers, the most effective remedy for dermatitis. Generally moisturizers are classified under 2 categories based on the way they feature ‘dried-out skin care’.
The first category includes moisturizers offering ‘dermatitis care’ just by preserving the moisture from the skin e.g. Vaseline. These moisturizers are relatively inexpensive and are easily available (even at grocery shops).
The second category includes moisturisers that actually work by drawing moisture from the environment and supplying it for the skin. This is a quite effective way of ‘dry skin care’ in humid conditions. The moisturizers offering ‘dermatitis care’ like this are also called humectants. For proper dermatitis care, you have to use a non-greasy form of moisturizer, so far as possible. Humectants fall on this category. The ingredients of humectants include propylene glycol, urea, glycerine, hyaluronic acid etc
‘Dry skin care’ just isn’t about just using moisturizers and also using them properly. The best ‘dermatitis care procedure’ is usually to cleanse skin before the use of moisturizer. You can make your ‘dermatitis care’ much more effective by applying the moisturizer while the skin is still damp (after cleansing). Also, just be sure you use soap-free products (especially on your own face, neck and arms).
Exfoliation does help in dry skin care, by removing the dead skin cells. However, don’t exfoliate too hard. Your dried-out skin care procedures/products also need to take care of sunscreen. Avoid excessive and too subjection to sun (by just using an umbrella/hat etc). Use a good sunscreen lotion before going out. A lot of moisturizers provide sun-protection too, along with dry skin care.
You have natural products for ‘dry skin care’ i.e. products offering ‘dried-out skin care’ in a natural way (without the use of synthetic chemicals). These dried-out skin care products supply lipid enhancements towards the skin, hence enabling moisture retention inside the skin. Another, important things for ‘dermatitis care’ could be the temperature of water you employ for shower or for washing your face – Use tepid to warm water; too hot or too cold water could cause dryness too.
‘Dry skincare’ is also about being gentle using your skin. You should avoid harsh detergents and alcohol based cleansers. Also, following a face wash, usually do not rub your towel in your face, just pat gently to soak water off.
